Whether your .30 cal is a bolt-action deer rifle, an AR-10, or a surplus 7.62 - this bore snake cleans it in one pull. Bolt-action .308 and .30-06 rifles are easy to clean with a bore snake - pull the bolt, drop the weight, pull the cord. For semi-auto platforms like the AR-10 or AK-pattern rifles in 7.62, the snake feeds through the ejection port. Hunters in the field get the most value: after a morning hunt, run a bore snake with a few drops of solvent through the barrel before casing the rifle.
