About Jags

A gun cleaning jag is what runs the final dry patch through your bore — its pointed brass tip pierces the patch, and the contoured shoulders press it tight against the rifling for full-surface contact on one clean pass. The range covers thirteen calibers from .17 through .50, including dedicated jags for .243, .270, .338, .375, .44, and .357/9mm. Solid brass stays softer than barrel steel, so a jag will deform before it ever touches the rifling.
