About Bore Mops

Bore mops finish the cleaning cycle a brush starts: absorbent cotton soaks up dissolved solvent and loosened fouling, then carries a thin film of protective oil into the rifling before storage. The range covers .17, .22, .30, .357/9mm, .40, .45, and .50 rifle and pistol bores, plus 12 GA, 20 GA, and .410 shotguns. Soft cotton over a brass core conforms to bore diameter without scrubbing — that's the difference between displacing fouling and grinding it back in.
